Auditorium al Duomo next to the Best Western Premier Viva hotel Laurus a new congress hall in Florence. The Auditorium al Duomo next to the Best Western Premier Viva hotel Laurus is a new congress hall in Florence for congress, meeting, conferences, concerts and cultural activities.

We remind that on January 2003 the Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation organised in Florence an international contest for the construction of the auditorium, entitled: "Rebuilding and Reusing the Cinema Astra" in Florence: international Announcement without Competition for Proposals of ideas to restructure and internally reorganise the rooms of a former cinema, located in Florence".

The final phase of the contest was participated by the Slovak Technical University of Bratislava, the Florence Faculty of Architecture, the Architecture Department of Ming Chuan University of Taipei and the Central Academy of Fine Arts of Beijing.

The Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation thanks Viva hotel Laurus for the kind availability to support its activity of international integration, without competition, in the respect of each cultural identity.

VIVAHOTELS has decided to put at disposal of the Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation this new structure, an auditorium whose seating capacity is 500 persons, all days of the year starting from 20,30 for concerts of young people from European Music Academies, art shows and exhibitions, conferences, seminars and meetings among university professors and students from different countries and cultures included in the future programs will benefit by a new structure and suitable equipments.
