Near Pitti Palace, a stone's throw from Ponte Vecchio and the Vasari Corridor, the Viva Hotel Pitti Palace al Ponte Vecchio is located in one of the districts most evocative of medieval Florence. It is also within walking distance of both the Uffizi Gallery and the Pitti Palace.

By car

From the A1 highway, take exit Firenze Certosa and follow the indications to Firenze centro. From Porta Romana, take via Romana and via Maggio, then turn right on Borgo San Jacopo at the traffic light. The hotel is at the end of the street, on your right hand side, in front of the Ponte Vecchio.

By train

1) Santa Maria Novella railway station is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. From the station, take via de' Panzani and via de' Cerretani until piazza del Duomo. From there, take via Roma and walk past Piazza della Repubblica and via Por Santa Maria. Cross Ponte Vecchio and enter via Guicciardini.
2) Take the bus line "D" and get off at the stop "Borgo San Jacopo".

From the airport Firenze/Peretola "A. Vespucci"

The airport has good connections to the center of the city, which can be reached in about fifteen minutes by taxi, and about twenty minutes by the Sita/Ataf service "Fly by Bus" between the airport and Santa Maria Novella railway station.
